🏞️ Samgaksan & Chuncheon Travelogue “Take the Samgaksan Cable Car, Have a Bowl of Chuncheon Buckwheat Noodles! A Sentimental Day Trip”

#TravelCourse #Chuncheon

🚗 1. Morning - Take the Samaksan Cable Car
• Location: Samcheon-dong, Chuncheon
• Parking: Large parking lot available (free)
• Operating hours: 10:00 ~ 18:00 (subject to seasonal changes)
• Fare: 15,000 won for adults round trip
• Highlights
• The view of Uiamho from the cable car is truly a work of art 🎡
• From the upper observatory, you can see Chuncheon city, the lake, and the Bukhangang River at a glance
• On a clear day, the mountain ridge that stretches out like Mt. Fuji is a great photo spot 📸
• Tips
• You can also choose a glass-bottom cabin for the cable car (extra fee applies)
• I recommend a cup of iced Americano at the observatory cafe ☕

🍜 2. Lunch - Chuncheon buckwheat noodle restaurant
• Recommended restaurants:
• Bongchu buckwheat noodles / Chuncheon buckwheat noodles / Sambat buckwheat noodles • All hand-picked buckwheat noodles and dongchimi soup are the best!
• Menu recommendation
• Bibim Makguksu + Boiled Pork Set
• Sweet and sour buckwheat bibim and savory boiled pork are a perfect combination
• On a hot summer day, I also recommend the ice-cold Dongchimi Makguksu!
• Local atmosphere
• The rustic local feel is intact, but the taste is honestly deep
• There is a waiting line during lunch time, so it is recommended to enter before 12 o'clock

🧁 3. Afternoon - Emotional Cafe & Walk
• Cafe recommendation:
• Cafe Gamjabat: Enjoy dessert while looking down at the Chuncheon scenery through the open window
• Cafe Santorini: A photo zone restaurant with a view of Uiamho Lake + rooftop
• Bread Cafe: A local cafe with delicious coffee and homemade bread
• Walking spot
• It is also good to connect to the nearby Uiamho Skywalk or Soyanggang Skywalk
• If you don't want to walk, it's good to sit at the lakeside cafe and spend some leisurely time.
