A Peaceful Healing Spot in Da Nang: The Lady Buddha at Linh Ung Pagoda

Linh Ung Pagoda is a famous Buddhist temple located on the Son Tra Peninsula in Da Nang, Vietnam. It is about 14 km northeast of Da Nang International Airport, which takes approximately 25-30 minutes by car. During the journey, you can enjoy a scenic drive along the beautiful coastal roads of Da Nang. Linh Ung Pagoda is situated on high ground, offering one of the best viewpoints to overlook Da Nang city and My Khe Beach.

Upon arrival at Linh Ung Pagoda, the first thing that catches your eye is the gigantic Lady Buddha statue, which stands at a height of 67 meters. You can see its majestic figure from afar, and as you get closer, you can't help but be overwhelmed by its scale. Standing beneath the statue and looking up, you get a mystical feeling as if it is touching the sky. The temple's interior is quiet and peaceful, providing a sense of tranquility.

Linh Ung Pagoda is one of the largest and most famous Buddhist temples in the Da Nang area, having been completed relatively recently in 2010. The Lady Buddha statue, the symbol of this place, is known as the tallest statue of Guan Yin in Vietnam and is believed to be the guardian deity watching over Da Nang while facing the sea. The temple grounds are beautifully landscaped with various statues, towers, and gardens, making it a pleasant place to stroll around and explore.
