We rode our motorbikes from Hoi An to this temple. Looking at the map, it seemed even closer from Da Nang. The route wasn't too steep, and we drove in with a pleasant view of nature and a gentle breeze.
When we reached the temple entrance, there were a lot of people, so we had to queue to buy tickets. There's also an option to buy elevator tickets for those who don't want to walk up. I recommend taking the elevator, as it saves time and energy. The day we went was extremely hot, and climbing up several levels alone was tiring.
But once we got up there, the fatigue disappeared immediately. We admired the grand pagoda, paid our respects to the Buddha, and explored various parts of the temple. While some spots were difficult to walk around due to the heat and the vastness of the area, every step was memorable.
The highlight was the towering Guanyin statue, the temple's landmark, and the stunning views of the surrounding sea and mountains provided some impressive photo opportunities.
Overall, it was a wonderful day. The trip was fun, the prayers were fulfilling, and the photos were beautiful. If you have the chance to visit Da Nang, I highly recommend spending time at Linh Ung Pagoda.
