Da Nang is a city full of Southeast Asia's characteristic warmth and vibrancy, but hidden within it lies a slice of Europe: Ba Na Hills. Visiting this place for a day felt like stepping into a completely different world, with its cable cars, the Golden Bridge, European-style buildings, and street performances.
We left our accommodation early in the morning and headed straight to Ba Na Hills. Upon arrival, we took a long cable car ride up to the mountain summit. The view from the cable car was beyond imagination, with layers of mountains, forests, and the distant sea unfolding before our eyes.
At the summit, the Golden Bridge was absolutely breathtaking. The sight of giant hands holding up a bridge above the clouds left us in awe.
Surrounding the bridge was a European village that made us feel as if we had been transported to a small town in France. Cathedrals, fountains, brick buildings, and squares—it all felt more like a well-maintained city than a theme park. There were also performances and costume parades happening here and there, ensuring there was never a dull moment.
For lunch, we dined at a buffet within Ba Na Hills, which offered a satisfying variety of Vietnamese local dishes and Western cuisine. After the meal, we wrapped up the day lightly by enjoying attractions in the Sun World area, including a carousel, 4D experiences, and indoor rides.
Ba Na Hills is a place where you can enjoy the essence of Europe, nature, and entertainment all at once in Southeast Asia. It’s undoubtedly a highlight of any trip to Da Nang.
