Dai Ly - Let's go where the wind is

Dali is not only a beautiful and prosperous land in Jin Yong's martial arts novels, but is also known as a famous Chinese tourist destination with many ancient architectural works, unique culture and cuisine.
Main attractions of Dali
The main attractions in Dali and also the most visited places are the ancient citadel of the same name, the Western Quarter, Erhai Lake, the Cangshan Range, the traditional houses of the Bai people, the ancient village and the Spring Park.
In Dali, the government does not grant construction permits for modern buildings or high-rise buildings in the citadel. Thanks to that, the architecture here still retains its ancient character, imbued with the traditional features of ancient buildings with peaceful streets, interspersed with temples and palaces stained with time. The new housing area is located about 10 km away. In general, the ancient city of Dali is quite peaceful and small. Tourists traveling to Yunnan are extremely excited to visit this place because it is not noisy, there are not many vehicles, so they can comfortably walk, visit, sightsee and chat.
Dali Ancient City
The first tourist destination in Yunnan that you should not miss when coming to Dali is the ancient city of the same name. This is one of the most attractive places in China. There are many historical relics, many buildings, temples, and infrastructure for tourism. Previously, Dali was the kingdom of the Bai people that existed from the 10th century to the 13th century. And after 22 kings ruled until 1253, this place was invaded by the Mongol Empire and the capital of the kingdom was Dali City.
Erhai Lake
Erhai Lake is the next prominent destination among the famous places in Dali. It is called Erhai because from afar, this place looks like an ear. This is actually a lake located in the high mountains of southwestern China. This tourist destination is right next to the center of Dali city, in Yunnan province and about 265 km west-northwest of Kunming.
