Itinerary
Day 1: Depart from Lhasa and head to Namtso Lake, enjoying the magnificent scenery of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau along the way. Upon arrival, visit Tashi Peninsula and explore the cave murals and Tashi Do Monastery.
Day 2: Get up early to watch the sunrise, then choose to hike or ride a horse around the lake to experience the charm of nature. If your physical strength allows, you can climb the small hills of Tashi Peninsula and overlook the panoramic view.

From May 1, 2025, Namtso Scenic Area will implement the peak season ticket policy, with a full price ticket of CNY 210/person (CNY 110/person for the ticket + CNY 100/person for the sightseeing bus ticket).
Special preferential policies include: children aged 6 and under or under 1.2m in height, and elderly people aged 70 and above are exempt from tickets and sightseeing bus tickets; retired cadres, disabled people, etc. are exempt from tickets and need to purchase sightseeing bus tickets; children between 1.2 - 1.5m in height, elderly people between 60 - 70 years old, etc. enjoy ticket discounts.
‼️ Precautions
Namtso Lake is located on a plateau with a high altitude, which can easily cause altitude sickness. It is recommended to rest and adapt after arriving in Lhasa.
