1. Geographical Location

Baimajing Town is located in the central-western part of Danzhou City, Hainan Province, on the southern shore of the confluence of the Beibu Gulf and Yangpu Bay. It borders the Beibu Gulf and Xinying Bay, and is separated from Yangpu Port by a single strait.

2. Transportation

The Hainan Ring Expressway and the Hainan West Ring High-Speed Railway run through the town, with the Baimajing Interchange and Baimajing Station available. For self-driving travelers, simply enter the place name and use the navigation system.

3. Famous Attractions

Baimajing boasts numerous historical sites, including the Baima Spring, the General Fubo Temple, and the Wenfeng Pagoda.

1. Baima Spring. Its name originates from an ancient legend. During the Eastern Han Dynasty, General Fubo, Ma Yuan, was on a southern expedition to Jiaozhi (present-day Vietnam). Passing by this place, his soldiers were overcome with thirst. Suddenly, the general's white horse pawed the ground, and a spring gushed out, relieving the soldiers' thirst. To commemorate this miraculous event, later generations dug a well here and named it "Baima Well," also known as "Baima Spring." The well is known as "Hainan's No. 1 Spring."

2. General Fubo Temple. This temple commemorates General Fubo, Ma Yuan, a renowned Eastern Han Dynasty general. Ma Yuan led numerous campaigns in the south, quelling rebellions and bringing peace and prosperity to the region.

3. Wenfeng Pagoda. The Wenfeng Pagoda in Baimajing is a significant historical site in Danzhou City, Hainan Province. Standing 13.57 meters tall and boasting 11 stories, it is the tallest pagoda in Danzhou. Built in 1897, the 23rd year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, it commemorates Fu Huanzhang, a successful candidate in the imperial examinations in Danzhou during the Qing Dynasty. The pagoda symbolizes the emergence of talented individuals and the peak of cultural heritage within the village, making it a vital carrier of Danzhou culture.

4. Ancient Trees. Baimajing is home to numerous ancient trees, particularly banyan trees, and boasts a healthy ecological environment.

5. Baimajing Fishing Port, one of Hainan's top ten fishing ports.

IV. Surrounding Attractions

Surrounding Baimajing are famous attractions such as Ocean Flower Island, the Millennium Salt Fields, Longmen Waves, Yangpu Bridge, and Dongpo Academy.
