5-Day Road Trip Along Route 318

Route 318 is a popular choice among Chinese tourists, connecting Sichuan Province to Tibet. The terrain here is a high plateau located in the Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, making travel challenging as there are no public buses. We decided to book a Chinese tour to experience the stunning summer snow-capped mountains at an altitude of over 4,000 meters. The road winds through valleys, and the scenery along the way becomes increasingly breathtaking.

⚠️ Be cautious of altitude sickness (AMS). On our trip, someone had to return early due to the high altitude of over 3,000 meters above sea level. Prepare your body, stay hydrated, and ensure a safe and enjoyable journey.
