Kyushu National Museum

The fourth national museum established in Japan, following Ueno, Kyoto, and Nara. It is commonly referred to as "Kyuhaku."

This was my first visit, and I was amazed to see national treasures that are featured in textbooks on display.

Located near Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, so if you're visiting Dazaifu, I highly recommend stopping by.

Starting in July, a special exhibition celebrating the museum's 25th anniversary is planned.
