Don't miss the lesser-known Baima Snow Mountain on the old 214 National Highway!

You can see it on the way to Meili Snow Mountain.

🌟Navigation route (if you are going to Meili Snow Mountain): Navigate from Shangri-La to Meili Snow Mountain, and add "Pillow Basalt Landform" as a waypoint. When you are almost at the Baima Snow Mountain Tunnel on the 214 National Highway, the navigation will ask you to turn right onto the old national highway. Just follow the navigation.

If you are not going to Meili Snow Mountain, just navigate to "Pillow Basalt Landform."

🌟Baima Snow Mountain is very niche, very beautiful, and not crowded! The old national highway is full of beautiful scenery, and you can basically see snow-capped mountains all the way. 🏔️
The snow-capped mountains in autumn are especially beautiful. Many people go straight to Meili Snow Mountain and miss it!

Baima Snow Mountain in winter is not as stunning as in autumn, but the withered yellow grassland and the majestic snow-capped mountains complement each other, revealing the desolate beauty of winter.
There are large ice surfaces on the grassland, which are great for ice skating and taking photos.

If you have enough time, don't miss the U-shaped valley. It's great for taking photos, and you can also go hiking. It's a 5 km round trip with an elevation gain of 360 m. You can download the route from Two Steps.

【Notes】The pass of Baima Snow Mountain is at an altitude of 4,300 m, and it is very windy. Bring a hat, gloves, a portable oxygen machine, glucose, and lip balm.
