Dongguan's No. 1 Peak | Yinping Mountain Check-in Guide⛰️

Don’t know where to go on the weekend? Why not conquer Dongguan’s first peak - Yinping Mountain! It is located in Xiegang Town, Dongguan City. It is a national 4A-level tourist attraction. The main peak, Yinpingzui, is 898 meters above sea level. The park consists of three major areas: Xiegang, Qingxi and Zhangmutou, among which Xiegang Scenic Area is a popular choice for climbing the main peak.

🎈Superb natural landscape: There are many unique landscapes here, such as "Fairy Monkey Looking at the Moon", "Shigu Reservoir", "Alien Pit Peacock Waterfall", etc. Walking among them, it feels like being in a wonderful gallery of nature.

🚗Transportation Guide:

• Self-driving: Navigate to “Yinpingshan Scenic Area Sightseeing Bus Ticket Office”, there is a parking lot in the scenic area.

🎫Tickets: Free, reservations must be made in advance on the WeChat public account "Dongguan Yinpingshan Forest Park".

⏰Opening hours: 06:30 - 18:30, climbing is prohibited after 15:30.

🧗♀️Mountaineering route:

• Smooth route: about 3,900 meters. Along the way, you can enjoy the scenery of clear water and cascading pools and various flowers and plants. There are also toilets, suitable for family outings.

• Steep route: about 2,700 meters, short but steep, with slopes exceeding 45 degrees in some places, no toilets, suitable for people with a certain level of physical strength and mountaineering experience.
The recommended walking method is left-up and right-down, which is suitable for most people.

📌Intimate Tips:

• Wear comfortable sports shoes, bring enough drinking water, food, sunscreen, power banks, mosquito repellent, and knee pads if you have bad knees.

• The top of the mountain is windy and there is no shade, so remember to bring a thin jacket.

• Pay attention to safety when climbing, obey scenic area regulations and signs, protect the environment, and do not litter.
