A Religion Long Forgotten at My Son

Visiting My Son Sanctuary in central Vietnam's Da Nang feels like traveling through time to the glorious era of the Champa Kingdom✨. Once a religious center dedicated to Lord Shiva, the red-brick temples stand quietly amidst a lush valley, exuding a rich historical atmosphere.
Although some ruins were damaged by war, the solemnity and mystery of the ancient civilization can still be felt🙏. Walking along the stone paths, with a gentle breeze brushing past, it almost feels like the ancient Sanskrit chants are echoing in your ears.
📝Friendly Reminder: The midday sun can be intense, so be sure to bring water, towels, umbrellas, and other essentials to avoid heatstroke🥵. Located in a remote mountainous area, there are no restaurants nearby, so it's recommended to bring your own food and water.
🚗Transportation: We used a shuttle service from a travel platform this time, which was very comfortable and allowed us to store our luggage. Highly recommended!
