Enoshima felt like a gentle exhale from city life. I wandered across the causeway into a world of sea breeze, sacred shrines, and cliffside views that shimmered under the afternoon sun. The island’s charm unfolded slowly—hidden stairways, cats lounging in temple courtyards, and the scent of grilled squid wafting from cozy stalls. I lingered at the Iwaya Caves, where ocean whispers echoed through stone. Sunset from the Sea Candle was pure magic—Mount Fuji silhouetted in pastel skies. Enoshima isn’t loud or flashy; it’s a quiet muse, perfect for reflection, photography, and falling in love with the sea.
