"Wat Sin Chaiyaram" is a beautiful temple renowned for its Naga path connecting to Kham Chanod. The temple grounds offer a shady, cool atmosphere and a mystical atmosphere that truly deserves a visit. Surrounded by mountains, this large temple was built in conjunction with forest conservation efforts. It serves as a Buddhist park for the study of Dharma and Buddhism. The temple houses a large Naga statue, measuring 186 meters long, making it the largest Naga in Laos today. Its name, Pu Nanthopananda Naga, is revered by both Lao and Thai people, who often come to pray for good fortune and blessings. Another highlight is the Phra Buddha Chana Mara Plaza and the Royal Dharma Hall, which houses the royal chariot used in the Phra Than Ngon procession, surrounding the That Luang Stupa. There are also betel nuts made from beeswax. Laotians often come to offer alms to the monks to increase their merit and dedicate their wealth to Buddhism. This is a temple not to be missed when visiting Muang Phueng.
