Used to think the Guangfo Metro Line was just about Zumiao, Lingnan Tiandi, and Qiandeng Lake?
Here’s a mini guide for your next Guangzhou-Foshan day trip — all by metro 🚇👇
🚏 Qiandeng Lake Station
1️⃣ Qiandeng Lake Park
Peaceful, scenic, and always a local fave.
You can even hop on a boat ride across the lake — a nostalgic must-try 🌊🛶
2️⃣ Daguan Museum
Small but elegant two-storey museum with intricate bronze mirrors and a new Han Dynasty exhibition: Chang Le Wei Yang.
🕰️ 9:30–18:00 (last entry 17:00) | Closed on Mondays
🎟️ Free | Book via their WeChat official account
3️⃣ Denghu West Street
A charming little street full of street food, cozy setups, and pretty lights at night.
There’s a mall nearby too if you want to chill indoors.
4️⃣ Zhiyue Youcheng
Another food spot nearby — more focused on traditional eats but you’ll find cute cafes too ☕🍜
🚏 Liguang Station
🧗♀️ Liguang Park
Right next to Qiandeng Lake and connected by foot.
You can hike up Mount Liguang and climb the Kui Xing Pavilion — 6 stories high with a rewarding view of Foshan 🏞️
🎟️ Free!
🚏 Zumiao Station
🏯 Zumiao (Ancestral Temple)
A Lingnan-style architectural gem that includes:
Foshan Ancestral Temple history display
Wong Fei Hung & Ye Wen Memorial Halls
Lion dance shows (daily at 10:00, 14:15, 15:30, weather permitting)
Cantonese opera performances (weekends & 1st/15th of lunar month at 13:30)
🎟️ ¥20 | Book via “佛山祖庙” on WeChat
🕰️ 8:30–18:00 (last entry 17:30)
🌳 Bonus Nearby:
Lingnan Tiandi – restaurants, shops & artsy alleys
Zhongshan Park – peaceful city park vibes
Ran Garden – a quiet little detour
🗺️ Pro Tip: Do one station per half-day if you wanna walk slow, eat lots, and take pics 📸
Great for solo walks, chill weekend dates, or if you're hosting friends from out of town!
Let me know if you want a 1-day or 2-day suggested itinerary version too 🧃✨
