A Day at Makaino Farm – Fujinomiya, Shizuoka

At the beginning of April, I had the chance to visit Makaino Farm, located at the foot of Mount Fuji, and it was truly an unforgettable experience!

As soon as I arrived, I was captivated by the vast, open space with rolling green fields and sheep leisurely grazing. The sky was clear that day, with clouds gently drifting around the peak of Mount Fuji, creating a breathtaking, almost fairy-tale-like scenery.

My favorite part was getting up close to the sheep, petting them, and feeding them—a rare experience for someone living in the city. The farm also offers many fun activities like horseback riding, making fresh cheese, and enjoying rich, creamy milk ice cream.

This is definitely a perfect destination for those who love nature, animals, and photography. If you ever visit Fujinomiya, make sure to stop by Makaino Farm!
