Lake Tanuki | Very attractive

#TravelChat

We planned to visit Lake Tanuki because we wanted to see Mt. Fuji up close, having read that it was the largest mountain in the country. Unfortunately, it was rainy and foggy on the day we visited, so we couldn't see Mt. Fuji at all. We only saw the massive base, with the peak disappearing into the sky.

Lake Tanuki is surrounded by mountains and trees, and the air was perfect. It's a pleasant walk, with easy walking trails and plenty of places to sit and relax. We walked through a pine forest and reached a dock where people were fishing. Along the way, we encountered several elderly people walking, as well as children biking.

Overall, we really enjoyed Lake Tanuki. Even though we didn't get to see Mt. Fuji, we enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful lake view. If we have the chance, we'd love to return and stay the night, as they have accommodations and camping areas.

Has anyone been there?
