I originally planned to head straight to Changbai Mountain’s Tianchi Lake, but this low-key national forest park won me over! Lushui River National Forest Park is a hidden gem I discovered by chance. Although online reviews are mixed, seeing it with my own eyes showed me what a fairy tale of autumn foliage truly looks like～

The autumn colors here are outrageously beautiful! The mixed coniferous and broadleaf forest in golden yellow, fiery red, and dark green reflects on Biquan Lake like a spilled palette. Although October is the tail end of the peak season, fewer people and beautiful scenery make for even better photos～

Must-visit spots:
1️⃣ Biquan Lake: The water is as clear as emerald, and the lakeside boardwalk offers great photo opportunities everywhere
2️⃣ Sky Corridor: Walk among tree canopies 20 meters high, the aerial view of the forest is amazing

1. Be sure to wear non-slip shoes! The stone paths in the forest can be slippery after rain
2. Bring a windbreaker; the mountain wind is quite chilly
3. The best time for photos is between 9-11 AM when sunlight filters beautifully through the leaves
4. Bring some snacks, as dining options in the park are limited
