🎒 Practical Tips:
1. Exchange NZD in advance; many small towns don’t accept cards
2. Lupin flower season from March to May is the most beautiful; cherry blossom season from September to November is also amazing
3. Drone permits must be applied for in advance
4. Sunscreen is a must! The UV rays are strong enough to make you cry
5. Renting a car is recommended for self-driving, but be prepared to adapt to right-hand driving
