As the sun leans low, the Gan River in Ganzhou transforms into a stretch of gold. The water catches every shade of amber and rose, and the riverbanks glow under the soft light. It felt like time slowed down just for a moment.

Walking along the embankment, I paused to watch boats drift lazily, laughter from nearby cafés drifting on the breeze, and the distant hills turning purple against the sky. It’s simple, peaceful — and utterly unforgettable.
