Experience the shivering winter at Genting for the 2025 Snake Year Spring Festival!

On the first day of the 2025 Snake Year Spring Festival, experience the shivering winter at Genting Highlands in Malaysia! This year's rainy season is exceptionally long, and upon arriving at Genting, it was shrouded in a white misty rain. The outdoor temperature was around 16 degrees Celsius, giving us a chilly jolt. We started with a half-day tour at the First World Hotel, the highest-altitude hotel in Malaysia. The family room we booked had two rooms, and compared to the hotels near Genting SkyWorld, the value for money was unbeatable! To travel between SkyWorld and the bus station, you need to book the hotel's shuttle bus in advance (one departure per hour). For dinner, we went to the Thai restaurant at the adjacent hotel, Genting Grand, to enjoy a warm Tom Yum soup and added the traditional "yearly fish" dish. The next morning at 7:20 AM, the sun 🌞 indeed came out! Wishing for a new year filled with sunshine and good fortune for the Snake year!
