If you're craving authentic, springy bamboo noodles, a hallmark of Guangzhou-style cuisine—this Penang eatery delivers a worthy bowl of wanton mee that stands out from the usual street fare. The noodles have a delightful chewiness, perfectly cooked, while the wanton are plump and generously stuffed with fresh, flavorful ingredients. Each bite confirms the care put into the dish.
The real showstopper? Their mixed coffee and tea (yuan yang) - rich, aromatic, and absolutely addictive. It’s a must-try, elevating the whole meal.
Service is efficient but somewhat reserved, a bit more warmth and enthusiasm would make the experience even better. That said, the food more than makes up for it.
Verdict: A standout for bamboo noodles and wanton mee, paired with one of the best coffee-tea blends in Penang. Highly recommended for noodle lovers!
