Finally getting around to sharing my Glenorchy horse riding experience – my procrastination finally gave way! 😂

There are two main stables in Glenorchy:

Lighthorse Adventures: Adults $249 / Children $229
High Country Horses: Adults $250 / Children $240
You'll need to book your specific time in advance via their official websites.

I personally went with the first one, Lighthorse Adventures. I noticed now there's only a $1 difference between the two prices. Last year, when I was checking (in spring), I remember there being a difference of tens of dollars, haha!

Remember to arrive early and check in at the counter. The staff will then guide you to try on shoes and helmets. If it's cold or raining in winter, they'll also provide jackets. When I went, it was early summer, so it was quite hot! I wore long pants and sun-protective clothing to avoid sunburn, but if you're not afraid of the sun, short sleeves would be fine.

It's a fantastic way to experience the stunning landscapes of Glenorchy!
