Guangzhou is the capital of Guangdong Province. This thousand-year-old commercial city has a profound historical and cultural heritage. In addition to Xiguan and Dongshan, the Guangdong Provincial Museum is a good place to spend most of the day when visiting Guangzhou. Located in Tianhe District, the Guangdong Provincial Museum is a national first-class museum, covering an area of ​​more than 40,000 square meters. The appearance of the square treasure box is full of a sense of the times. There are permanent historical, art and natural exhibition halls in the museum, as well as limited-time special exhibitions. This special visit is for the theme exhibition called "Gaze", which exhibits the art of collecting treasures from the 16th to 20th centuries, and various treasures made of different gems and metals from the East and the West. From the crown headdresses of royal nobles to the evening jewelry of scholars and ladies, the jewels are eye-opening. At the same time, we also visited the special exhibition hall of Chaozhou wood carving, which was amazing. There was also a special exhibition of Guangzhou clocks and watches in the Qing Dynasty at the same time. Unfortunately, there were too many things to see, not enough time, and I didn't want to rush through them, so I couldn't see all the exhibition halls. I can only come again next time.
