Guangzhou Classic and Nostalgic Tour: Three-day In-depth Tour Guide
Day 1: Old Xiguan Style & Film and Television Memories
Morning: Yongqingfang
* Take Metro Line 1🚇 to Huangsha Station Exit B and walk for about 10 minutes.
* Stroll along the renovated Xiguan Old Street, admire the arcade buildings, and check in at Bruce Lee's ancestral home and the Cantonese Opera Art Museum.
* Special experience: Read in Zhongshuge (the most beautiful bookstore in Guangzhou 📖), or try traditional Xiguan cuisine (recommended: Enning Road Egg Waffles, Chen Tianji Fish Skin 🐟).
Afternoon: Filming location of "Seventy-two Tenants"
* Take a taxi from Yongqingfang for about 15 minutes (or take Metro Line 6 to Wenhua Park Station and transfer to Line 8 to Zhongda Station).
* Located in the South Campus of Sun Yat-sen University (advance reservation is required to enter the campus), you can find the market scenes in the play and feel the atmosphere of old Guangzhou life.
Evening: Shamian Island
* The European-style buildings are suitable for taking photos and walking. For dinner, you can choose time-honored restaurants such as Qiao Gourmet.
Day 2: Animal Encounters & Urban Oasis
Morning: Guangzhou Zoo
* Directly to the Zoo Station on Metro Line 5, the ticket price is 20 yuan, which is great value.
* Highlights: Giant Panda Pavilion 🐼, Giraffe Feeding 🦒, Jinlin Garden Fantasy Fish Tank 🐟.
* Tips: Animals are more active in the morning, so bring your own snacks (catering in the park is average).
Afternoon: Liuhua Lake Park
* It is a 15-minute walk from the zoo and is open to the public free of charge.
* Check in at the "White House" in the lake (formerly Frankfurt Restaurant) and take a walk in the bald cypress forest trail 🌲.
Day 3: Cultural Relics & Food Feast
Morning: Chen Clan Academy → Xihua Road Food
* Visit Chen Clan Academy Station on Metro Line 1 to admire the three carvings and two sculptures of Lingnan architecture.
* Walk to Xihua Road: Shiying Shark's Fin, Tengyuan Fried Dumpling, Fangji Rice Noodle Roll.
Afternoon: Beijing Road Pedestrian Street
* Visit the ancient road ruins, the Big Buddha Temple is more beautiful at night.
* Recommended souvenirs: Lin Heung House chicken biscuits and Emperor’s Chinese sausage.
Transportation Tips:
* Use the "Guangzhou Metro QR Code" mini app to scan the QR code to enter and exit the station.
* It is recommended to take a taxi in the old town (starting price is 12 yuan) and avoid buses during peak hours.
Tips:
1. Guangzhou Zoo morning show (opens at 8:00) is less crowded and suitable for taking photos
2. Night view of Yongqingfang Moon Bridge🌙 (lights on after 19:00)
