#cherryblossom25
You don’t have to go all the way to Japan — the Phase II area of Haizhu Wetland in Guangzhou is home to a stunning 10-mu cherry blossom forest, now in full bloom! 💗✨
Pink and white blossoms weave together to create a dreamy, slow-motion romance (just like “5 centimeters per second” 🌸). The blooming season is expected to last through all of April 2025!
🌟 Core Spot to Check Out: Fulu River Cherry Blossom Grove
Enter from the South Gate of Phase II, and you’ll find yourself walking straight to the Fulu River, where most of the cherry trees (mainly Guangzhou Cherry) are planted.
Must-see highlights:
Low-hanging cherry branches form a pink-and-white canopy, mirrored in the waters below 🌸
Birds flit between the blossoms, adding a touch of vitality
A wooden boardwalk cuts through the forest — every shot here looks like a dreamy Japanese film still 🎥📸
Some areas have small fruit forming, but trees along the walkway are still in full bloom (perfect time to visit is now in April!)
🚉 Getting There
Metro: Take Line 3 to Lijiao Station, then bike or taxi 1.7 km to the Phase II South Gate
Bus: Routes 468, 582, or 765 to “Haizhu Wetland Park South Gate Station”, then walk 600 meters
Driving: Navigate to “Haizhu Wetland Phase II South Gate” (but parking is limited — public transport is better!)
🌿 Nearby Experiences
Wetland Eco-Tour: Visit the island in the lake to spot birds like egrets and night herons, or stroll along the Shiliugang River to catch the last blooms of Bauhinia (Hong Kong Orchid Tree) 🌺
Cultural Market: If you come across a local market, try your hand at Guangzhou porcelain painting or make a cherry blossom-themed fan 🪭
Cafe Chill: There's a charming café right by the cherry grove — perfect for a peaceful coffee break facing a sea of blossoms ☕🌸
