If you’re visiting China, Tai Er Suancaiyu is an absolute must-try!
The prices here are much lower compared to Malaysia, but the quality is just as incredible. The fish is completely boneless, incredibly tender, and the soup hits the perfect balance of spiciness — I loved every bite!

One dish you cannot miss is the 炸酥肉 (crispy fried pork). It’s insanely crispy, packed with flavor, and makes the perfect sidekick to the main fish dish.

Another thoughtful touch: they offer free flower tea, which is perfect for cleansing your palate after all the rich, bold flavors.

It was definitely an unforgettable meal — I can’t recommend it enough!
