Dafo Temple (大佛寺) or the full name of the Big Buddha Temple (Dafo Temple / 大佛寺) is a famous ancient Buddhist temple in Guangzhou, China. It means "Big Buddha Temple". The temple has a large Buddha statue (Sakyamuni Buddha) about 6 meters high, made of bronze. It is one of the largest Buddha statues in Guangzhou. The atmosphere is shady and quiet. It is a place of worship and meditation for local Buddhists.
