Traveling to Guilin with Parents and Staying in a Deluxe Family Room with Breakfast

During summer vacation, I took my parents to Guilin. Since they are older and have limited mobility, they dread long journeys and rushing around👣. I carefully chose the 🏨 Xiangbishan Gangshe Hotel for them, and throughout the trip, they couldn’t stop praising the accommodation.👍!

🛏 Our Family Room:
• Three single beds, cozy environment, and comfortable mattresses. After a day of sightseeing, we could 🚶 walk back to the hotel for a relaxing afternoon nap.
• Spacious room with a separate sunroom, a desk, and two sofas. We enjoyed tea 🫖 and takeout here without feeling crowded or arguing.
• The decor was modern, clean, and tidy—even my picky parents gave it a thumbs-up.

☕ Breakfast:
Hot dishes (fried rice🍜, noodles, stir-fries, boiled eggs🥚, etc.), cold dishes, freshly made Guilin rice noodles, fruits, salad🥗, coffee☕️, milk🥛, and soy milk—all served buffet-style. We ate heartily every morning. The flavors were authentic and light, perfect for older tastes. My parents, who usually dislike heavy flavors, loved the hotel’s meals.

🔴 Location:
Staying here made exploring effortless! The hotel is steps from Wenhua Palace Food Street, where you can:
• Eat until you’re stuffed (bubble tea, Guilin rice noodles, snail rice noodles, duck feet hot pot—you name it).
• Walk to Dongxi Alley and Jingjiang Prince’s Palace in under 10 minutes.
• A bus stop is right downstairs, and taxis🚗 to attractions cost just the base fare—no stress. (We could always choose the most comfortable and smooth transportation to avoid long walks.)
• Nearby itinerary suggestion: On the first day, stroll to Dongxi Alley + Jingjiang Prince’s Palace + the night views of Sun and Moon Pagodas.

💢 Other Amenities:
• Self-service laundry (07:30-22:30)—dirty clothes from the day could be washed and dried immediately, plus an ironing machine.
• The front desk offered plum juice and floral tea, and lent forgotten essentials like men’s face wash, cotton swabs, charging cables, and mosquito repellent.
