| Exploring Lali Terraces & Indulging in Qiannan Delicacies. Hey buddies👫, I recently visited this breathtaking place — Guiding Lali Terraces, stayed at the fabulous Huacheng Wood House View Hotel in Guiyang, and devoured all the local snacks Qiannan has to offer! Now I can’t wait to share this amazing journey with you🎉.

📍Lali Terraces:
Nestled in the karst mountains at 1,300 meters above sea level, Lali Terraces boast the saying "as high as the mountains, as deep as the waters." From above, the 1600-acre terraces shimmer✨ under the sunlight, with layered ridges painting elegant, rhythmic lines. Two cascading waterfalls, fed by mountain springs, plunge into the terraces, their crisp sounds like nature’s symphony🎵. The pastoral scenery here is utterly healing—breezes sway the rice seedlings, creating a green ocean🌊. During my visit, it was rice-planting season, and I witnessed the Buyi people using both traditional hand-planting and modern machinery, a fascinating blend of old and new.

🏨Huacheng Wood House View Hotel, Guiyang:
After the terraces, I checked into Huacheng Wood House View Hotel in Guiyang. Its location is perfect—No. 46 Ruijin South Road, Nanming District, right in the city center👍. Close to Fountain Square and Great Cross, it’s next to the 400-year-old Jiaxiu Tower and a short trip to Qianling Mountain Park. Surrounded by malls like Star Power Shopping Plaza and Yitian City Mall, it’s a shopper’s and foodie’s paradise😜. The rooms are uniquely designed—simple yet cozy, with large windows offering stunning views. Waking up to cityscapes through my curtains instantly brightened my day🌈. The service was impeccable, from check-in to housekeeping, making me feel right at home.

🍜Qiannan Snacks:
🥘Shrimp-Sour Beef: A soul of Qiannan cuisine! Stir-fried with shrimp-paste, the beef delivers a punch of sour, sweet, spicy, and umami, plus a funky aroma that’s oddly addictive😍. The beef soaks up all the flavors—I could down two bowls of rice with it!
🍜Libo Sliced Beef Rice Noodles: A Lipu breakfast staple! Freshly sliced beef and chewy rice noodles swim in a clear, savory broth. Each bite of noodles, meat, and soup is pure bliss, energizing your day🥰.
🥧Duyun Taishi Cake: A classic Qiannan pastry. Golden-brown with a white rim, it’s crispy outside, soft inside, and perfectly balanced in sweetness—ideal for tea or souvenirs🎁.
🍮Duyun Chongchong Cake: Street-side sweet treats! Steamed glutinous rice cakes topped with brown sugar and sesame—soft, fragrant, and nostalgically delightful😃.
🍚Luodian Lotus Leaf Sticky Rice: A Buyi specialty. Glutinous rice wrapped in lotus leaves steams to a purple hue, infused with herbal freshness—a natural, fragrant delight😋.
