Ashigezaki Observatory is located at the end of the Tanesashi Coast Promenade, on the cape in front of Samekado Lighthouse

It was used as a military facility by the former Japanese army at the end of the Pacific War.

It is currently open to the public as an observation deck, and you can see
the beautiful coastline, fierce waves, and seascapes, as well as rose hips and flowers blooming in every season.

It is also famous for its beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and is a popular spot visited by many tourists.
