This is the first time I've ever seen so many black-tailed gulls in my life!!
★Since the characters for "kabu" (nothing) and "kabu" (stock) are pronounced the same, it is said that the blessing will increase stock prices and the "kabu" (popularity) of the stock market.
★From March to August every year, black-tailed gulls fly in and raise their young. There are 30,000 to 40,000 of them! !
★Black-tailed gulls have been treasured since ancient times as messengers of Benzaiten of Mujima Shrine, who tells fishing grounds.
★Their cries are just amazing.
★In May, rapeseed flowers bloom all over the island. The contrast between the yellow rapeseed flowers, the red torii gates, the white black-tailed gulls and the blue sky is beautiful. ♥
★It is said that droppings from the sky will bring you good luck.
⚠️Note
An umbrella is essential as droppings will be dropped on you! ! There are umbrellas available for rent in front of the Chitorii gate.
It might be a bit tough for those who don't like birds!
Feeding black-tailed gulls is prohibited
