We visited Shimenshan Forest Park on a quiet, overcast morning, and the sense of stillness was immediate. Tucked into the forested slopes near Wuzhishan City, the park felt untouched and deeply rooted in the land. We followed narrow walking trails through dense tropical foliage, where the soft rustle of leaves and the calls of unseen birds created a natural rhythm.
