This Chiang Mai trip was truly heartwarming! I had the chance to go on a 3-day, 2-night trip to Chiang Mai with friends. What impressed me the most was how lovely and welcoming the people of Chiang Mai were. Today, I want to share some must-visit spots in Chiang Mai, including accommodations, cafes, beautiful photo locations, and iconic check-in destinations.
1. Accommodation: As someone from Bangkok, I crave nature. So, when visiting Chiang Mai, I had to head up the mountains to enjoy some fresh air. I chose to stay at Baan Ton Mai Mae Mae in Chiang Dao. The atmosphere was amazing, the grilled pork was delicious, and the surroundings were so lush and serene—I absolutely loved it.
2. Cafe: As a green tea lover, I couldn’t miss "Mee Jai Hai Matcha." This cafe offers incredibly delicious green tea desserts and drinks. I’m already looking forward to going back!
3. Photo Spot: One of the best places for photography is Ang Kaew Reservoir at Chiang Mai University. Every corner is picture-perfect, and the warm atmosphere is hard to describe. Despite the crowd, every angle feels lively and charming.
4. Iconic Check-in Spot: Chiang Mai Night Safari. Animal lovers shouldn’t miss this! There are so many adorable animals and multiple shows throughout the day. Even just riding the tram to see the animals brought me so much joy.
