Tran Quoc Pagoda on West Lake in Hanoi

Strolling north from the old town towards the West Lake, the Tran Quoc Temple is said to be the oldest temple in Vietnam. Fortunately, we entered before the lunch break at 11 o'clock. The Bodhi tree in the temple is said to be cut from the one where Sakyamuni attained enlightenment in Bodh Gaya, India. It is very precious. There is also a newly built red pagoda with 11 floors in the square outside the temple. It is very beautiful for taking pictures with the West Lake. The West Lake is very large and you can take a small walk along it.
