The Harbin Ice Festival is the world's largest ice festival, and is the pride of Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, China.
It is one of the three biggest snow festivals in the world, along with the Sapporo Snow Festival and the Canadian Snow Festival.
The 2025 festival will run until the end of February, and since the Winter Asian Games were held there at the same time, ice sculptures of architecture symbolizing Asian countries were on display outdoors in the park.
Osaka Castle was entered from Japan, and the works from each country were also quite impressive.
The biggest attraction is the world's longest The ice slide is 531m long. Apparently, during the Chinese New Year season, the wait time was up to 4-5 hours. The view from the Snow Flower Ferris Wheel is also amazing. There were many tourists who came to see the lights, and it got crowded from around 4pm in the evening. There were many photo spots, events and shows, so we enjoyed the whole day. However, it was -15°C, so be sure to take precautions against the cold. 📍Harbin Ice Festival (Harbin Ice & Snow World) Location: Taiyangdao West District, Songbei District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, China Access: Take subway line 2 from the city to Ice and Snow World Station, and it's right outside the station. #China #SnowyScenery #Harbin #Let'sGoToChina
