If you’re in Hatyai and love tom yum as much as I do — this spot is a must. I dropped by 2 PEE NONG HAT YAI to try their signature duck egg pork ribs tom yum wonton noodles, and let me tell you — it did not disappoint.

First off, that tom yum soup — chef’s kiss. It’s rich, spicy, tangy, and just the right amount of creamy. The flavor hits you immediately but doesn’t overwhelm — it’s super well-balanced, and honestly one of the best tom yum broths I’ve had in Hatyai so far.

Then there’s the pork ribs — tender, juicy, and they fall right off the bone. The duck egg adds that silky richness to the whole bowl, and those wontons? Soft on the outside, packed with flavor inside. Pair that with bouncy noodles and… yeah, I was in noodle heaven.
