The second stop of the girls' post-Chinese New Year trip - Hefei | A complete guide 📖1️⃣Day1: Ancient Xiaoyaojin - Huaihe Road Pedestrian Street
We arrived in Hefei in the evening and went to Guxiaoyaojin to see the lanterns first. There was a fee to enter the lantern garden. Apart from that there was only a statue, few people and no shops were open.
The second stop is Huaihe Road Pedestrian Street, which is similar to other pedestrian streets. You can buy some freshly baked Zhan’s peach cakes. The Hefei limited edition seems to be black tea flavor, but it only comes in exquisite packaging. I searched and found it, but I didn’t buy it on the spot.

2️⃣Day2: Bao Gong Temple-Sanhe Ancient Town
The Bao Gong Temple mainly introduces the life of Bao Gong, and also has some Hui-style bridges and buildings.
Sanhe Ancient Town is quite far from the city center. We went there when we drove out of Hefei, so public transportation might not be very convenient. Before I came here, I actually had very low expectations for it, thinking it was just a commercial town, but after I got here, it exceeded my expectations. If you have time and are on your way, you can come and have a look. There are a large concentration of Hui-style buildings here, including "small bridges, flowing water and houses" and historical sites. Although it has been renovated, it still has quite a bit of charm. You can take photos by the river or on the seats to compare the results.
🐟 Food: Daobanxiang (store name)
Dao Ban Xiang 🌟🌟🌟: Similar to cake with marinated meat, the cake is more delicious, but the meat is a bit greasy for me;
Stinky mandarin fish 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟: I thought it would be hard to accept, but I don’t know if it’s because it has been improved, I actually think it’s very delicious and not smelly at all.
Mao tofu🌟: I want to try it because I have never eaten it. It has a fermented aroma and a very strong taste that I can’t quite accept hhh.
Southern Anhui Mountain Pork Braised Noodles 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟: The noodles are better than the pork and very flavorful. It is a very dry braised noodle, and those who like soup noodles may find it just so-so.
🧋Drink: Kawanka
It is a must-drink when you come to Anhui. The osmanthus yogurt I ordered has a light floral scent. The small ingredients are the finishing touch and taste great with yogurt.
