Lord Bao Park, East Part, Hefei / 2025

#hellohalloween

The East Part of Lord Bao Park (包公园东区) is the most tranquil area of this famous historical park dedicated to the legendary Judge Bao Zheng — China’s symbol of justice and integrity. Unlike the busier central sections with temples and memorials, the eastern side is quieter, greener, and more reflective, with stone bridges, lily ponds, and shaded walking paths.

You’ll often find locals practicing tai chi, feeding fish, or sitting silently by the water. There are small pavilions where elderly men play chess, and if you go early in the morning, mist drifts over the lake like a scene from an old poem.
