This old port on the banks of the Hekou River is now a border area, so it is not in operation and only the memories remain.
It is a good place to have a cup of tea while feeling the river breeze and looking at the railway bridge of the train crossing Vietnam.
The tea house is decorated in a retro style to reflect the feeling of the old Hekou port, and there are also outdoor tables so that you can enjoy the scenery.
Location: When you leave Hekou Coan and go to the right, you will see the road to Hekou Station. As soon as you come out of the crossing, go between the Vietnamese coffee shop and restaurant on the right, and you will see the old port site that crosses to Vietnam.
