Yinchuan Citywalk! The design of Zhongshuge bookstore makes me want to take 10,086 photos

Who understands, family! I was just casually strolling around Jianfa Modern City in Yinchuan, but I was completely amazed by the Zhongshuge bookstore on the 6th and 7th floors! This is not just a bookstore; it’s like a real-life "Magic Book Palace." The combination of photo ops and reading buffs is maxed out. Both locals and tourists in Yinchuan, come on over!

As soon as I got off the elevator, I was speechless at the ceiling design! The ceiling is covered with mirrors intertwined with warm lights, and the bookshelves stacked layer upon layer look like diving into a whirlpool of books. Standing casually at the stair corners to take photos, you don’t even need to find an angle—it’s all atmospheric shots. The original camera shots alone can blow up your social media! My bestie spent 20 minutes shooting here, and her phone storage was immediately running out 😂

And it’s not just for show! The 7th floor has social sciences and literature books, while the 6th floor features a children’s reading area and a cultural and creative zone. The classification is super clear, and you can basically find any book you want. I picked a prose book and sat on the sofa by the window. Sunlight streamed through the blinds onto the pages, and all I could hear was the gentle sound of turning pages. Even the mall’s hustle and bustle outside seemed cut off. This immersive reading experience is so healing!

The cultural and creative zone is also great to browse! There are fridge magnets and notebooks featuring Yinchuan landmarks, plus super cute bookmarks and scented candles. The prices aren’t expensive, making them perfect as souvenirs. I couldn’t resist buying a notebook with the “Helan Mountain” design. The texture is amazing, and now I’m super motivated to write my diary every day~

Oh, and there’s a hidden photo spot here—the glass corridor on the 6th floor. Standing there, you can see a panoramic view of the bookshelves below. With the warm yellow lighting, photos look like you’re “walking in a sea of books.” Remember to wear light-colored clothes for more magical shots!
