🇯🇵 Beautiful old streets and snacks in Hida Takayama City

Hida Takayama City is a tourist destination in Gifu Prefecture, full of "Little Kyoto" style! 🎏 This place is more like an old street, and there are no streets like in Kyoto where you are not allowed to take photos🥹

The most popular food is Hida beef sushi sold in the ancient streets of the city, as well as grilled beef skewers, beef buns and seasonal fruits 🍎, and there are plenty of snacks! ⏰Please note that most shops are only open until 4-5pm, so it is recommended to visit earlier!

The Takayama Festival is held every spring (April 14-15), and the parade of floats is very lively!

In addition, if you leave early in the morning, you can go to the Miyagawa Morning Market. The morning market is open from 7am to 12pm. It is one of the three major morning markets in Japan, with stalls set up along the Miyagawa River.
