Hohhot's temple named after a pagoda

Compared to the Dazhao Temple, which is full of people taking photos, I prefer the Five Pagodas Temple next to it.
Mr. Ye Shengtao praised it as "excellent" and Mr. Liang Sicheng praised it as "extremely delicate."
Transportation: Shared bikes or walking are recommended in the city.
Features: 1. The world's only Mongolian stone-carved astronomical map and the Wheel of Life, unfortunately, they are behind the pagoda, and can only be viewed from the side due to the fence.
2. One of the four Great Vajra Thrones in China, the exquisite reliefs on the whole body are very spectacular.
3. The Vajra Throne Stupa, with five small pagodas on the square throne, representing the Five Dhyani Buddhas: Vairocana in the center, Akshobhya in the east, Ratnasambhava in the south, Amitabha in the west, and Amoghasiddhi in the north.
4. In addition to the pagoda, there are things to see in every temple, which is different from the regular temples in Shanxi. The bell tower and drum tower we think of have Buddha statues.
Note: 1. The scenic area is free, you can enter with an ID card, or register if you don't have one, and you can get a stamp.
2. There are free explanations at 10:00 and 15:00 every day, you can pay attention to the time and listen for free.
3. The Shaomai Street on the right side of the exit is very delicious, don't miss it.
4. Most people take photos on the right side of the pagoda, thinking that the angle is better, but I prefer to avoid the modern buildings behind.
