Hoi An

Traveling in Southeast Asia is always a great choice, and among its many destinations, Hoi An stands out as a quiet and charming city. Despite the short itinerary of just one and a half days, every moment—from the Thu Bon River and An Bang Beach to the quaint old town—was truly satisfying.
On the first day, I started my journey leisurely by strolling through the alleys of Hoi An Ancient Town. The yellow walls, lanterns, and traditional architecture created a picturesque scene, and simply walking through them brought a sense of peace. Local dishes like pho and sweet Vietnamese coffee felt more like a healing experience than just a meal.
In the afternoon, I took a boat tour along the Thu Bon River. Floating quietly on the river and gazing at the scenery of Hoi An helped me rediscover the tranquility I had forgotten amidst the busy daily life. In the evening, I moved to An Bang Beach to watch the sunset. The moment the sky turned pink is still vividly etched in my memory.
The second day began with a morning beach walk, followed by a relaxing coffee break at a local café to start the day at a leisurely pace. Before heading back, I visited the market and small souvenir shops for some light shopping.
It was a quiet yet profound trip. Hoi An was filled with the warm air and laid-back atmosphere unique to Southeast Asia. If you're looking for a trip that offers 'rest' rather than a hectic schedule, this is a place worth revisiting.
