Come to Sai Kung's isolated island to see the cows~🐂

In Sai Kung, there is such a secluded island 🏝️, surrounded by the sea, with a few families living on the island, and a few shops and restaurants. This isolated island is - Tap Mun.

At Tap Mun Pier, there are several stalls where you can buy some special snacks, such as squid strips, at very affordable prices.

Walking past the stalls at the pier, there are several restaurants. I especially recommend the bottled milk tea 🧋 from these restaurants. It is a classic Hong Kong milk tea specialty. I will buy a few to take away every time I return. 😋

The island of Tapmen is surrounded by the sea and has a green grassland, which is a place for the island's cattle (Tamen cattle) and tourists to rest. The cattle can also eat directly when they are hungry. (So the grassland must be well protected, because there are many cattle on the island, and protecting the grassland will give them enough food.)

There are several types of transportation in Tap Mun.

1:🛳️: Ma Liu Shui Pier – Tap Mun

MTR University Station Exit B, walk 10-15 minutes to Ma Liu Shui Pier and take the street ferry.

There are only 2 boats per day on weekdays and 3 boats per day on holidays (remember to pay attention to the departure time)

The boat journey takes about 1.5 hours.

Sai Kung Wong Shek Pier - Tap Mun

Take bus No. 94 from Sai Kung Bus Terminal to Wong Shek Pier Terminal, then transfer to the ferry to Tap Mun.

There are 7 sailings per day on weekdays and 12 sailings per day on holidays (please pay attention to the sailing time)

The boat ride takes about 30 minutes.

Occasionally there are speedboats🚤, and more people can get together. The cost is relatively expensive, but it only takes 5-10 minutes to reach the tower gate.
