I went to Hong Kong to see Coldplay on Saturday and had my first experience of Hong Kong’s newest Kai Tak Coliseum. This new venue feels great, and Coldplay’s performance was really great, which really filled my heart with emotions! ! ! Now I’m going to summarize for you my complete guide to Kai Tak Stadium after my experience. If you need it, please remember to save it! !

transportation:
🚄After the high-speed rail arrives at West Kowloon, go to the "Austin" address station and take the subway. One line can go directly without changing lines
🚇There are 2 stations in Kai Tak, namely "Kai Tak" and "Song Wong Toi"
If you need to eat before going to the venue, get off at Kai Tak Exit D
The nearest stop to the venue is "Songhuangtai Exit D"
⭐️Exit options:
🚗I personally recommend that you can go back and forth in one day and give priority to sharing a business car
🚌Bus: If you want to queue up, head towards Songhuangtai subway station. I heard that SP12 can get you back to Shenzhen port quickly. Yongdong is crowded. If you want to get back to Guangzhou or Foshan, it will probably be after 3 or 4 o'clock.
🚇Metro: You can choose "Songhuangtai Exit A" when leaving the venue. There are very few people, but it's just a few more steps than D.

About entry:
1️⃣ Don’t bring water! ! The security check on water is stricter than the camera check. There are many places selling drinks in the venue, basically 💰35+, and the beverage cups sold are also without lids. There are also self-service water points in the venue, and disposable cups are provided
2️⃣There are many toilets and you don’t need to queue up
3️⃣The air conditioner is super cold and the air outlets are all at the bottom. It is recommended to bring a jacket or wear long pants!
4️⃣Bags have a certain size. If you need to store them, the venue is 💰80 per bag. I saw a recommendation for "Kai Tak Retail Center No. 2, 3rd Floor" which also has lockers

About the Stadium:
1️⃣Personally, I think it's not too big, nor too small. I felt the sound equipment was okay in the inner field, but I saw that the sound effect was not good in the first few rows of seats facing the stage.
2️⃣The Coldplay on the sky screen was turned off, saying that they were afraid that the noise would affect nearby residents. The fireworks turned into scattered flowers, but the projection effect on the sky screen was very good!

🍚About eating:
There is an "AIRSIDE" shopping mall at Exit D of Kai Tak MTR Station. There are many food places on the underground floor. This time I ate at a Hong Kong-style tea restaurant called "Three Points Three Ice House". It was very good! !

🏨About accommodation
1️⃣ Next to Kai Tak: Kai Tak Emperor, very close but expensive
2️⃣You can choose to stay on the same subway line as Kai Tak. I recommend choosing a hotel near the two subway stations "Hung Hom" or "Tsim Sha Tsui". This time I stayed at the "Metropolitan Harbour Plaza Hotel" in Hung Hom.
3️⃣The best value for money is definitely to live in Shenzhen! !
