Hong Kong|Hidden Gem — The Secret Heart-Shaped Pool🩵

Beautiful things are always hard to come by.
Pretty places are always hard to reach.
But it’s okay, as long as your heart is strong enough and your stamina is sufficient, there’s no place you can’t get to. (Of course, personally, I believe safety should always come first.)
This special heart-shaped pool is located between Kiu Tsui Island and Half Moon Bay.
Because of its uniqueness, it has attracted many people to come and explore.
Some come to check in, some come to experience a private natural pool here.😆 (Nature lovers and enthusiasts definitely belong to the latter.)
Getting here is not easy; it requires enough physical strength, and since sea activities carry certain risks, safety measures must be taken to ensure safety first.
How to get there:
1: From Sai Kung Pier, walk along the coast to the kayak rental shop at the end, rent a kayak🛶, paddle to Kiu Tsui Island, then paddle from the left side of Pineapple Stone Beach on Kiu Tsui Island (opposite direction to Sai Kung) to the heart-shaped lake.
‼️ It’s best to have an experienced person accompany you when kayaking; do not go alone.
Kayak rental prices: Single kayak (weekday) $150
Double kayak (weekday) $250
Single kayak (weekend/holiday) $200
Double kayak (weekend/holiday) $300
2: You can bring your own inflatable rubber boat, take a boat to Kiu Tsui Island, and then start from there. (We brought our own rubber boat and started from Kiu Tsui Island.) This requires more equipment.🙈
Occasionally, when taking a boat to Half Moon Bay, I’ve seen many people climbing along the rocks from Half Moon Bay to the heart-shaped pool. Some lucky ones have successfully reached it.
Personally, I strongly advise against this. Some sections may require entering the sea, and if you are not familiar with swimming or don’t know the sea depth, it’s very dangerous. Please think carefully before setting off and act within your limits.
🚢🚢🚢 Transportation to Kiu Tsui Island and Half Moon Bay:
From Sai Kung Pier, take a ferry or speedboat to "Kiu Tsui Island" or "Half Moon Bay."
There are many boat operators to choose from; you can pick whichever fits your schedule.
Most boats run about every 30 minutes, with prices around $30–$50 (depending on where you return from, prices vary).
If you miss the boat you bought a ticket for, you can also take other operators’ boats back to Sai Kung by paying an extra $20.
Before boarding, you can ask the boat operator or take a photo of the last boat schedule to avoid missing the last trip.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ——— Safety First‼️
The "Heart-Shaped Pool" is not a planned tourist spot; please act within your ability and avoid unnecessary risks just for the sake of checking in.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ——— The most important point for every trip🩵
Protecting nature is everyone’s responsibility. Please keep the environment clean and take your own trash with you.
