【Hong Kong】 Latest tasting of Lee Kum Kee x Messina Chaozhou Spicy Oil Ice Cream!

Messina is one of the most famous gelato shops in Central, always attracting locals and tourists with its local flavors. This time, I found their collaboration ice cream with the local sauce giant "Lee Kum Kee"!

This collaboration features two different ice creams: one is the "Rich Bean Flavor" oyster sauce vanilla ice cream, and the other is the "Chao Lime Spicy," made with Chaozhou spicy oil. I got to try the latter first 🤯

This Chaozhou chili oil ice cream is not just spicy: it also has texture! The combination of kaffir lime leaves and Chaozhou chili oil, along with peanuts, dried shrimp, chili, and chili oil crisps, gives the whole ice cream a slight spiciness, but it’s not too hot—truly a delightful surprise!
