It was a friend’s birthday, and I wanted to take her to enjoy some high-quality food. I saw this new caviar wagyu beef tartare feast semi-all-you-can-eat dinner at a restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui, so I chose to dine here. The dinner includes cold appetizers, hot appetizers, soup, and main course.
The sesame dressing salad 🥗 had fresh and crisp greens with plenty of Japanese-style sesame dressing. There were also some breadcrumbs, adding a richer texture.
The caviar egg salad with salted crackers had a soft and delicate texture. The caviar was savory and fresh. The salted crackers were crisp enough.
The caviar oyster 🦪 seafood platter included 4 shrimp, 4 mussels, and 2 oysters topped with caviar. The shrimp 🦐 shells were shiny, and the meat was slightly springy. The mussels had no fishy smell. The oysters were creamy.
The caviar Kagoshima A5 wagyu beef tartare had evenly marbled beef with tender meat. It came with black truffle, mustard sauce, diced onions 🧅, quail egg, and a whole box of caviar. You could choose to mix everything together or try each ingredient separately. My favorite was the aromatic black truffle and caviar.
The caviar red wine 🍷 foie gras toast had foie gras soaked with red wine flavor and was slightly crispy. The portion was moderate, so it wasn’t too rich. The toast was crispy.
The Dafu oyster cream soup 🥣 was very rich, filled with oyster bits. The soup was creamy. On top was a piece of crispy toast and pan-fried oysters that were fragrant and not fishy.
The red wine braised beef cheek was very tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were smooth with a strong and rich potato 🥔 flavor.
The smoked spicy sausage pizza was freshly baked and served hot. The pizza 🍕 crust was not thick, with a slightly crispy edge. It had cheese 🧀 that was stringy.
This meal was great, not only featuring caviar, black truffle, and wagyu beef to excite the taste buds but also a live band where you could request songs.
