Positioned as a high-quality Zen-themed inn in Suqian, the hotel is built alongside the water and features three large courtyards: the Water Courtyard, the Tea Courtyard, and the Zen Courtyard. Each courtyard offers exquisite, home-style scenery.

The hotel is right next to the Xiang Wang Gu Li scenic area. You can use your room key to enter the Zhenru Chan Temple and the Xiang Wang Gu Li scenic area through the back gate of the Water Courtyard (the hotel provides complimentary tickets to the scenic area, which is a great perk).

The front desk staff, dressed in traditional Chinese clothing, transport you back to the Chu-Han Dynasty. They are incredibly helpful and strive to meet every guest's needs.

The rooms are clean and feature eye-catching, antique-style beds with comfortable bedding, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The bathrooms are spacious and well-stocked with toiletries. The only minor drawback is the lack of shelving for shampoo and soap in the shower area, which the hotel could improve.

The hotel's scenery is stunning both day and night, but the night view, illuminated by lights, is particularly captivating.

The hotel's restaurant, Chuyuan, serves breakfast and other meals. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of dishes and excellent value for money.

1️⃣ The hotel has a limited number of rooms, so it's best to book in advance.
2️⃣ Don't set your expectations too high for the Xiang Wang Gu Li scenic area. Although it's a 4A-rated scenic area, it feels somewhat artificial, though it does offer good photo opportunities with a traditional Chinese aesthetic. The performances in the scenic area are worth watching, but be sure to check the showtimes and locations.
3️⃣ The nearby Suqian Museum is worth a visit. It offers insights into human history and can broaden your knowledge.
